This scope requires the development and provision of an automated soil analysis and processing (ASAP) system to support ongoing research at EMSL. The completed automated system will replace the collection of spatially isolated, human-administered systems used to conduct the suite of analyses that comprise the organic matter capability. The ASAP system must add modularity, expandability, robotic liquid handling, robotic sample handling, sample tracking, remote monitoring and scheduling, and comprehensive metadata and data collection through integration of scheduling software with EMSL’s Network for the Execution of User Science (NEXUS) laboratory information management system (LIMS). VIRTUAL PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE A virtual pre-proposal conference was held on May 25, 2023 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm PDT via Microsoft Teams.
