The intent of this specification is to define various equipment for use in the F37 Building for the Proton Improvement Plan II Low Conductivity Water (LCW) system. The LCW system is a closed loop cooling system which provides cooling with clean, filtered, low conductivity water circulated via a closed loop where the supply temperature is regulated to 95 °F. The PCW system relies on this equipment to operate continuously. The equipment described in this specification must be designed for reliable service life with minimal maintenance and low operation costs.
