The manufactur... Fermi Research Alliance (FRA) wishes to procure a quantity of (3) 650 MHz Superconducting Radio Frequency Cavities (SCRFC) B=0.92. FRA will supply the niobium material for the cavities. The manufacture of SCRFC requires several very special disciplines of fabrication including, but not limited to; Electron Beam (EB) welding in an ultra-high vacuum and machining and hydroforming forming of the niobium half-cells.
