Request for Proposal (RFP) 23-042 for Statement of Work “Radiological Shielding and Analysis Support”; CAT A3; HP-SOW-001; Revision 0; June 15, 2023. Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) is soliciting proposals from qualified Suppliers to provide Radiological Shielding and Analysis Support at PPPL located on the James Forrestal Campus, Princeton, New Jersey. Services to be provided are described in the Statement of Work for “Radiological Shielding and Analysis Support”; CAT A3; HP-SOW-001; Revision 0; June 15, 2023, further details can be found in Attachment 1_Statement of Work. Recognizing PPPL’s vision, mission and core values, each Supplier’s proposal should include the approach and methods necessary to completely execute aspects of the requirements within the Statement of Work (SOW) as detailed in Attachment 1. This effort will cover a range of technical areas: Provide radiological shielding simulation and analysis including Monte Carlo N-Particle Transport (MCNP) calculations. This will include recommendations of shielding configurations (designs) based on a set of particle variables/configurations provided. ? Radiological analysis calculation and support, as requested. ? General radiological technical support, as requested.
