Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) a National Laboratory and Federally Funded Research and Development Center RDC) operated by The Trustees of Princeton University, a US Department of Energy Prime Contractor wishes to solicit proposals in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) 20-053C to upgrade the Physical Access Control System (PACS) at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. The scope of work of the project includes replacement of the existing access control system and enhance its capabilities by implementing a new state-of-the-art enterprise Physical Access Control System consisting of four fully integrated elements: physical access control and monitoring, intrusion detection and alarming, video surveillance, and automated online visitor management. Prospective contractor must be certified in the GSA FIPS 201 Evaluation Program. The magnitude of this procurement is between $150,000 and $1,000,000 inclusive of option items. The period of performance is 270 calendar days after subcontract award. This procurement is unrestricted, full and open. The applicable NAICS Code is 561621, Security System Services. This announcement shall not commit PPPL to issue a subcontract for this effort, or to pay any costs incurred by offerors in the preparation and submittal of proposals in response to this RFP.
