This is a pre-solicitation notice for an upcoming Requst for Proposal for Ames National Laboratory Infrastructure Modernization Project anticipated include upgrades to electrical, plumbing, IT and building envelopes (Roof). The work will be related to 3 buildings located in Ames, Iowa on the campus of Iowa State University. Ames National Laboratory is expecting to issue the RFP in mid September, 2024 and upon evaluation of proposals issue a single award to one general contractor to manage the project. There will be a request for a base propopsal and alternates to be evaluated per the criteria stated in the RFP when issued. Ames National Laboratory is working with an A/E firm and Commissioning Service firm to develop the specifications and drawings to be included for this project.
