Design-Build Services – STM Security Fencing - North Boundary

The National Laboratory of the Rockies is soliciting design-build services for new perimeter fencing along the North boundary of the South Table Mountain (STM) Campus, including removal of designated existing chain-link fence and related construction; the full SOW governs detailed technical, environmental, safety, and administrative requirements. Design work must follow NLR’s 50%, 90%, and 100% Issued-for-Construction reviews, comply with NLR Design Standards and CAD/BIM formats, meet design-to-cost objectives, and use Procore for all documentation. Construction must comply with NLR and DOE safety, security, and environmental guidelines, including utility locates before excavation, erosion control, material handling, waste prevention/recycling, and off-site disposal tracking. The subcontractor must provide qualified project management and on-site supervision, maintain an approved QA Plan, participate in required meetings, field observations, testing, and commissioning, and coordinate deliveries and personnel access under NLR/DOE security protocols. At completion, the subcontractor must provide as-built documentation, testing records, and turnover materials and support Beneficial Occupancy; portions of the work require coordination with the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO).
