National Laboratory of the Rockies Energy Systems Integration Facility High Performance Computing Request for Information
RFI-2026029603
The National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR) is seeking information on technologies to replace its Kestrel high-performance computing system with a new system (ESIF-HPC-4) for the 2028–2032 timeframe. The replacement must be compatible with the Energy Systems Integration Facility (ESIF) data center, which prioritizes energy efficiency equally with computational performance. This is a request for information (RFI) to understand currently available marketplace technologies. No budget amounts are specified. Performance of services would be at the NLR's ESIF facility.
