A recent request made us aware of an error in the specifications. Currently Section 3.1 of the spec states: “The Dipole Vacuum Chamber for the large gap dipole source shall be mounted to, and supported by, existing NSLS-II accelerator structures as identified in BSA drawing SR-VA-CHM-IR-0001.” It should state: “The Dipole Vacuum Chamber for the standard gap dipole source shall be mounted to, and supported by, existing NSLS-II accelerator structures as identified in BSA drawing SR-VA-CHM-IR-0002.” Also, Section 1.6.3 - Applicable Documents needs to be updated to include SR-VA-CHM-IR-0002 – INF UHV Optical Extraction System Drawing (Attachment (B7)) The released drawing is uplaoaded to BidSpecs BSA will update the Specification for contract award. Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA) has a requirement for the NSLS-II TES Beamline Upgrade Optical Components Packageand all related hardware for the TES Beamline at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL).
