Solicitation Number: 437412 Date: October 3, 2023 Title: NSLS-II CDI Liquid Nitrogen Distribution Piping This pre-solicitation notice serves as a synopsis and is posted in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This is not a solicitation. Vendors shall not submit a quote until, and/or if, the solicitation is posted to the Governmentwide Point-of-Entry via www.SAM.gov. This announcement shall NOT be construed as a commitment by Brookhaven Science Associates LLC (BSA) to award a Subcontract. Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) reserves the right to use any and all information submitted by, or obtained from, an interested party in any manner BNL determines is appropriate, including, but not limited to, the creation of a solicitation. Background: BNL is a Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratory multidisciplinary research facility, located on Long Island, New York. BNL intends to compete the requirement for Liquid Nitrogen Distribution Piping, to be utilized within the United States, as a Total Small Business set-aside. Note: One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. Need: BNL has the following requirements: Please see attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW)/ Specification for additional needs. BNL expects to make one (1) award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332996, Fabricated Pipe and Pipe Fitting Manufacturing (Size Standard, 500 employees), and the applicable PSC is 4710, Pipe, Tube and Rigid Tubing. Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting their quotes. BNL intends to issue solicitation RFQ-437412 in support of this requirement. The anticipated award contract type is a Firm Fixed Price contract. BNL anticipates award date to be on or around 12/15/2023. Delivery Date: BNL requires delivery, installation and site acceptance no later than 11weeks after receipt of order.
