Mission Support Alliance (MSA), as a prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy Richland Operations Office (DOE-RL) is issuing this Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to construct a new water treatment facility in the 200 West Area of the Hanford site, located approximately 29 miles north of Richland, Washington, in Benton County. The Project scope is to construct and commission a new ~10,000± SF Microfiltration Membrane Water Treatment Facility (See Diagrams, Attachment 2). The construction activities shall include all associated Site Civil improvements (e.g. site grading, underground utility tie-ins, installation of new transformer and backup generator, water main extensions, paved parking surfaces, storm water system, etc.), Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Structural installations, Fire Safety/Suppression design and installation, and installation and support to startup and commissioning of the membrane treatment system.
