This is a Request for Information (RFI) announcement only. Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Advanced Light Source Upgrade (ALS?U) project, is seeking to procure a prototype fabricated steel assembly (raft) along with an associated base support assembly and embedded plate that are designed to support a variety of electromagnets. The scope of work includes manufacture, quality assurance, packaging and delivery of the specified magnet raft and base support weldments, and the embedded plate. No engineering or analysis is required by the vendor to produce the specified hardware. 3D CAD models are available upon request
