Procurement of the Coil Curing Oven for EIC IR Direct Wind Coils. The oven shall be a high temperature oven to be used for the curing in an air atmosphere of coils comprised of niobium titanium superconductor. These coil shall be fabricated on stainless steel support tubes during curing and shall be instrumented with temperature sensors in critical areas. Coils of various lengths and diameters, and also tapered diameters, shall be supported during curing. Temperature uniformity of the reaction fixture at 125 ºC, at 175 ºC, and at 225 ºC is critical and shall receive appropriate consideration in the detailed design of the oven and its control system.
