LBNF Liquid Argon LAr Circulation Equipment
This contract is for the engineering and manufacturing of a vacuum-jacketed pump valve box and associated cryogenic equipment for a Liquid Argon (LAr) Circulation System. The scope includes MLI-insulated piping, isolation valves, pressure safety valves, instrumentation, and protective structures like platforms and ladders. The equipment will be responsible for transferring liquid argon to and from the main circulation pumps and onward to a purification system. The work involves installing this equipment in Detector Caverns, where it must be properly protected and accessible.
