Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), a National Laboratory and Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), operated by Princeton University under contract to the United States Department of Energy, wishes to obtain expressions of interest from qualified and experienced sources capable of providing toroidal field conductors that it will incorporate in its Toroidal Field (TF)/Ohmic Heating (OH) Magnet Bundle for the National Spherical Torus Experiment (NSTX) Upgrade Recovery Project. The specifications for manufacture, inspection, testing and delivery of the TF conductors have not been finalized, however, pertinent information needed to respond to this market inquiry is provided by PPPLs TF Conductor Overview.
