Battelle Energy Alliance (BEA) and Idaho National Laboratory (INL) are seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified suppliers for complete, environmentally and seismically qualified seismic switch solutions for the Advanced Test Reactor Plant Protection System, for market research and future procurement planning. The existing Kinemetrics TS-3A switches are obsolete and degraded, with one currently out of service, so replacements must restore normal PPS configuration and long-term reliability. Suppliers should demonstrate nuclear safety-related capability including three-axis ground motion sensing, dry contacts, adjustable trip setpoints, in-situ testing/calibration, qualification to IEEE 603/323/344 and ANSI/ISA-67.04.01, and a QA program consistent with ASME NQA-1. Deliverables include complete assemblies, mounting hardware, qualification and test reports, O&M manuals, installation/interface documentation, calibration and surveillance procedures, certifications, and long-term support/obsolescence management. Interested respondents should submit a concise PDF response of about 10 pages covering organization/contact and UEI/CAGE information, business size, technical capabilities, relevant experience, QA program, manufacturing/delivery capabilities, lead times, and assumptions or exceptions to the specified INL contacts, clearly marking proprietary information.
