SEE ATTACHED PDF FOR ADDITIONAL DETAILS Expression of Interest Mechanical Properties Testing System BACKGROUND Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), the Management & Operating Contractor of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) owned Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from prospective offerors to provide mechanical properties testing systems for irradiated beta-gamma emitting nuclear materials that will be used in the Sample Preparation Laboratory (SPL) Mechanical Properties Test Cell (MPTC) at the Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) at INL. The Sample Preparation Laboratory is a facility that supports the nuclear research and development mission of the by providing mechanical properties testing and micro- and nano-scale examination capabilities for radioactive (beta-gamma emitting) materials.
