The Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is utilizing this request for information for market research to determine what vendors have the capability to fulfill this requirement. NNL will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this request for information. NNL is issuing this request for information to identify sources capable of providing dc isolation and ac isolation technologies that can support the following goals: DC Isolation for the following scenarios Handle continuous 450 amps at 1,000 vdc Manually operated. Handle 1,000 interrupting cycles at 50 amps and 1,000 vdc. Handle 10 interrupting cycles at full load of 450 amps at 1,000 vdc. Handle transient of 800 amps at 1,000 vdc for 20 seconds. Handle transient of 1,500 amps at 1000 vdc for 1 second. Space envelope smaller than 10 inches X 4 inches X 10 inches. Handle continuous 1,000 amps at 425 vdc Manually operated. Handle 1,000 interrupting cycles at 50 amps and 425 vdc. Handle 10 interrupting cycles at full load of 1,000 amps at 425 vdc. Handle transient of 1,700 amps at 425 vdc for 20 seconds. Handle transient of 2,400 amps at 425 vdc for 1 second. Space envelope smaller than 10 inches X 4 inches X 10 inches. AC Isolation for the following scenarios Handle continuous 700 amps at 600 vac Manually operated. Handle 1,000 interrupting cycles at 50 amps and 600 vac. Handle 10 interrupting cycles at full load of 700 amps at 600 vac. Handle transient of 1,300 amps at 600 vac for 20 seconds. Space envelope smaller than 10 inches X 4 inches X 10 inches.
