This Request for Information (RFI) seeks input from interested stakeholders including, but not limited to, the critical minerals (CM) sector and others in the following areas: geologic and mineral characterization, mining, mineral processing, and metallurgical industries; end-user technology manufacturers using CM and REE; and also national laboratories and academics involved with R&D geared toward attaining an uninterruptable domestic supply of CM including 15 individual rare earth elements (REE) lumped together as “rare earths”. For the purpose of this RFI, “critical minerals” is defined by Executive Order 13817 dated December 20, 2017. Submit information to: CMsustainibility-RFI@hq.doe.gov
