Washington River Protection Solutions LLC (WRPS) located in Richland; Washington at the Hanford Clean-Up Site manages the storage of dangerous waste within tank systems. To reduce the total volume of tank waste stored in the tank systems an evaporation facility is utilized. This evaporation facility has various safety instrumented systems intended to maintain safe configuration of equipment during abnormal conditions. One such condition being seismic activity, several pieces of equipment are required to remain operational during a seismic event. As such, WRPS desires to qualify these parts through seismic qualification testing, performed by a supplier with an NQA-1-2008/2009a program. WRPS is issuing this Expression of Interest (EOI) to identify prospective Subcontractors who may have the capability to provide seismic qualification of equipment used within a nuclear facility.
