Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) is the Tank Operations Contractor (TOC) and requires precision mapping of subsurface utility and infrastructure to support engineering planning, construction, excavation and drilling work within mission requirements. Subsurface mapping is necessary to detect underground utilities, unknown objects and-or infrastructure that may potentially cause harm to personnel, damage to equipment or disrupt environmentally sensitive elements if encountered by invasive activities. These services are needed in support of WRPS’ prime contract with the U.S Department of Energy. This task will require the subcontractor to conduct subsurface investigations using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electromagnetic Utility Mapping Systems (EUMS).
