ADVANCED MANUFACTURING, CRITICAL MATERIALS, AND COMPUTING DEVELOPMENT REQUEST FOR OFFER
DOE is soliciting offers for a long-term realty agreement, such as an easement or lease, covering all or part of property at the Hanford Site in Washington State. Selected applicants would design, finance, permit, develop, construct, install, own, maintain, operate, and decommission advanced computing, critical minerals processing, advanced manufacturing, and/or energy generation infrastructure, including IT/cooling, processing/manufacturing, energy supply, transmission, storage, and ancillary facilities. Projects may include new energy generation that is co-located or developed offsite with coordination with the applicable landowner and utility; offerors are responsible for utility interconnection and full costs of new generation and delivery upgrades under the Ratepayer Protection Pledge published March 4, 2026, with energy supply expected to be established before other project infrastructure comes online. DOE may consider multiple projects on different tracts, with tract size depending on proposed technologies, and is interested in offers detailing collaboration with DOE national laboratories, plants, and sites. DOE will evaluate offer quality and reserves the right to select all, some, or none of the offers received.
