Fermilab Superconducting Quantum Materials and Systems (SQMS) Program will purchase a multi-technique electron spectrometer, which will be the base of an experimental workstation for robust surface characterization of 2D transmon and 3D resonator structures. The workstation will allow for robust characterization and understanding of the chemical constituents present in these structures, which can commonly induce performance degradation in related quantum systems.
