AMENDMENT No. 2 is being issued to incorporate the following: Seller must be an authorized Schneider/Modicon Distributor and must submit proof of being an authorized Franchised / Licensed Schneider/Modicon "Distributor". Responses are due back by Friday, June 21, 2024 (5 PM) ************************************************************************** AMENDMENT No.1 is being issued to add QA 101 4.43 (see below) and extend the due date from 4/16/24 to 4/24/24 (5 PM) QA 101 4.43 Franchised / Licensed “Distributor” Traceability Products that are not purchased directly from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/Original Component Manufacturer (OCM) must be purchased only from a franchised/licensed distributor of the product being offered. The distributor shall ensure traceability of all products to the original equipment manufacturer by identifying the original manufacturer for each lot/date code on the Certificate of Conformance. The distributor shall provide a copy of the Manufacturer’s certificate for the lot number being supplied, along with their franchised distributor certification. The distributor shall not use unapproved brokers (any company, person, or entity who is not an OEM/OCM) for the purchase of components and parts, unless pre-approval has been granted by Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA). Except as hereby modified all other requirements pertaining to this Request for Quotation (RFQ) remain unchanged. ***************************************************************************************** Kindly quote this “FFP” (Firm Fixed Price) requirement with a Quote in my name with the Current Date and Lead Time. System For Award Management (SAM): In order to support DOE reporting requirements, BSA requires all its vendors/contractors to be registered in the U. S. Government supplier database entitled System For Award Management (SAM) with their Unique Entity ID number (UEI#). Registration can be performed on line at www.sam.gov. If not already registered, please register as soon as possible since failure to do so may preclude BSA from doing business with your organization. Please note that there is no charge for SAM registration. When registering, you are strongly urged to copy and paste www.sam.gov onto your browser address rather than utilizing your search engine. Utilizing your search engine may redirect you to an erroneous site. You may obtain assistance in completing your registration by contacting the Federal Help Desk at 866-606-8220 or by contacting your local Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), which can be found at https://www.aptac-us.org *Foreign vendors are not required to be registered in SAM but must fill out the AMS-Form-050 (Enclosure B). 3. Basis of Award: BSA will make award to the responsive and responsible offeror who submits the lowest total price and who meets all of BSA’s technical requirements, as stated herein. 4. Pricing: shall remain valid for 60 days Quotations will be opened in private. Quotations, including their withdrawal or modification, received after the closing date shall be considered late. Such responses will only be considered for award if it is in BSA’s best interest to do so. Any resulting purchase order will be subject to the attached Terms and Conditions.
