Item to be Quoted: Qty. 2 Chromalox Description: TMXS-B-09-020P-E4XX 480V 1-3P 20KW *ASME* QUALIFIERS: Offerers must provide a commercially available product meeting the performance and specifications of the item identified herein. Will the Offerer provide all of the items as listed in Attachment A with specified manufacturer and item numbers? If no, Offerer shall submit a detailed specification and test report that illustrates equivalent requirements. Does the Offerer have previous experience manufacturing, assembling, and testing heaters of similar complexity for the items identified above? If yes, the Offerer shall provide references for at least three (3) successfully manufactured, assembled, tested and delivered three (3) heaters of similar complexity. The references shall include the name of the organization, contacts, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses. Offerer shall provide drawing of design for confirmation and approval by BSA before beginning fabrication Include a Bill of Material List part number for all parts including the type K thermal couples (ungrounded) Offerer shall provide Material Certifications Offerer shall provide evidence that they can perform ASME pressure testing of the heater Offerer must specify if it will be tested to ASME BPVC or B31.3 piping code Offerer shall provide evidence that they can provide UL certification for the electrical components Offerer shall provide a calculation of heat transfer and pressure drop for the design and show prior reports as proof of their capability. An energy balance calculation does not meet this requirement For flow conditions we have the following worse case to evaluate: Helium gas at 45 K (Kelvin) and 3.5 Bar at inlet. Mass flow rate is 10 grams/second. The outlet gas needs to be at 300 K (kelvin). Offerer shall provide ohmic resistances reading of each heating element and each must be within 5% of each other Offerer shall provide Lifting lugs with test certifications Offerer shall provide regular status updates to BSA on the design progress and fabrication on a bi-weekly basis as well as a schedule Please also return the following along with your quote: 1. Due to the value of this Contract, DOE requires Business Representations and Certifications be completed for all procurements exceeding $10,000. Published Price list: showing the items on your quote for price justification or a prior customers invoice for the same/similar items. 3. System for Award Management (SAM): In order to support DOE reporting requirements, BSA requires all its vendors/contractors to be registered in the U. S. Government supplier database entitled System for Award Management (SAM) with their Dun & Bradstreet number (Duns#). Registration can be performed online at www.sam.gov.
