The optimal square footage needed is approximately 17,000 sq. ft. Area needs are as follows: Offices – 1,500 sq. ft. Classroom – 1,500 sq. ft. Secure Equipment storage – 2,000 sq. ft. Indoor high bay training area – 2,000 sq. ft. Indoor high bay vehicle storage – 10,000 sq. ft. Parking spaces for 30+ passenger vehicles and for 5 to 10 large trucks from other agencies will be needed. The facility needs to be within a 5-mile radius of Argonne National Laboratory with easy access to Interstate 55. Familiarity with GSA real estate requirements or lessor affiliate with federal government is desirable.
