Femtosecond laser system with two synchronized outputs
The Laser Technologies Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory intends to procure a laser system to enable remote sensing experiments based on femtosecond laser filamentation. The system will support research including femtosecond beam propagation and remote plasma generation for isotope sensing, air-lasing with two-color synchronized beams, spatiotemporally shaped free-standing plasma channels, and high-energy beams for filament–filament interactions. The research requires two appropriately synchronized beams. Detailed desired specifications and response instructions are provided in the attached RFI document.
