The University of California, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory ("University" or "LBNL") is searching for potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience necessary to deliver two 500MHz HOM Damped Cavities for the Advanced Light Source Upgrade project. The 500 MHz HOM-damped accelerating cavity is a key component of the new Accumulator Ring as part of the LBNL ALS-U project. The ring design calls for two operating cavities, each providing a nominal 500 kV of acceleration potential to approximately 50 mA of electron beam, achieving an ultimate energy of 2 GeV.
