The University of California, on behalf of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), would like to invite you to participate in the Request for Quote (RFQ) No. HW-04152024 This scope of work is for the manufacturing design fabrication, dimensional inspection, fiducialization, vacuum testing and delivery of vacuum chambers for the ALS-U project. The chambers are VC01 and VC16, each has three and two sub variants respectively. There are therefore five vacuum chambers variants in this scope. All chambers in this scope must be NEG coated. The VC01 and VC16 vacuum chambers are located within the 12 sectors of the Storage Ring (SR). Each sector of the SR is divided into units comprising one straight section and one arc section.
