Argonne National Laboratory is seeking to award a Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA) to an architectural/engineering/planning firm to provide design services and construction administration support to Argonne’s Infrastructure Program. The Infrastructure Program is tasked with managing construction projects that usually have total project costs under $10M. Typical work under this contract will be to provide pre-schematic, schematic, design development and final design support and architectural and site planning work for various infrastructure projects across the site. The work would include but not be limited to: building design and construction support for office and laboratory construction including technologically challenging building designs; office and conference space build-out and refurbishment, and laboratory and support space build-out and refurbishment. The selected company will have substantial resources available within a 50-mile radius of Argonne and be able to provide immediate on-site support to Argonne on an as needed basis. Companies given the strongest consideration will have a history of providing architectural design services in an ID/IQ framework to institutional customers and show they are capable of consistently providing high quality, innovative design documents while balancing schedule and budget demands. Specific Assignments under the contract will be issued with the understanding that architectural design support work will begin immediately to meet Argonne’s needs.
