Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) entered into a Task Order with Metropolitan Group, LLC (MetGroup), to provide Consulting Services for FERC’s Equity Assessment consistent with Equity Executive Order (EO) 13985, on behalf of the, Office of General Counsel (OGC). The Task Order was modified for the “continuation of consulting services in support of FERC’s work on an equity assessment and equity plan regarding selected priority areas. The additional work is being undertaken pursuant to the requirements of EO 13985, “Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government”, issued on January 20, 2021.” FERC did not have to post the Limited Sources Justification and original award at the time of the contract award, because the total contract amount was under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT). However, in accordance with FAR 8.405-6, FERC must post the Limited Sources Justification, the original award, and the modification, now that the total contract amount is over SAT.
