The U.S. Department of Energy, Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern), intends to contract by means of a Sole Source justification with PowerWorld Corporation for PowerWorld Simulator software and support in accordance with FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i). The applicable NAICS code is 511210 with a small business size standard is $41.50. This notice is not a request for quotes or proposals. Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability to accommodate this requirement by e-mailing the Contract Specialist at william.collier@swpa.gov no later than 12:00 PM CST, February 12, 2021. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement at Southwestern's sole discretion.
