However, in recent years WAPA has been specifying corrugated copper tape for shielded 5/C #10 and 12/C #10 conductor. Please clarify shielding for 5/C #10 and 12/C #10 conductor. 3/C #8 is often non-shielded. Please confirm that tinned copper braid shielded is required for the 3/C #8. ANSWER: WAPA wants the copper braid shielded not the taped. No shielding needed on the 3/C #8. 2. QUESTION: Manufacturer is requesting details regarding items 12 – 18 on the list of items requested. Please confirm if these are VNTC or portable cables. Answer: These would be VNTC for the ones it applies to 16, 17, and 18. A signed copy of this amendment must accompany your quote to be considered.
