Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) intends to issue a solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Substation and Transmission Line Structure Foundations, Conduit, Grounding, and Site-work at Various Locations throughout the Upper Great Plains Region which consists of a six-state area including Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa and Rocky Mountain Region which consists of a four-state area including Colorado, Wyoming Nebraska and Kansas. The successful contractor will be required to provide labor, materials, equipment, and other resources necessary to complete the Task Orders awarded under this contract. The principal components of the work involve demolition of existing foundations, providing various types of concrete foundations, structure erection, conduits, grounding, and miscellaneous site work at multiple locations throughout the region. The minimum guarantee under this contract will be $50,000 and will have a maximum limitation of $5,000,000. The performance period of this contract will be 36 continuous months from the date of award. The solicitation will be set-aside for Small Business concerns. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237130 with a Small Business Size Standard of $45,000,000. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this agency. This solicitation including specifications and drawings will be issued on or about May 21, 2025 and the projected bid opening date is June 23, 2025.
