Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of Fargo Substation, 230-kV Bus Upgrades in North Dakota. The principal components of the work involve miscellaneous sitework, removing and disposing of electrical equipment, steel structures, and concrete foundations; providing concrete foundation, steel structures, grounding, and conduit; installing coupling capacitor voltage transformers; providing associated electrical equipment; and installing outdoor bus system and control cable. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All work is to be completed within 270 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about July 8, 2024, and the projected bid opening date is August 8, 2024.
