Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials other than Government-furnished materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of Oahe - Glenham 230-kV Transmission Line Upgrade, South Dakota. The principal components of the work removing and disposing of 19 existing 230-kV steel lattice tower structures and foundations; providing steel pole foundations at 19 locations; erecting new Government- Furnished steel pole 230-kV structures at 19 locations; and reinstalling conductor and overhead ground wire. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All work is to be completed within 180 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about May 1, 2024 and the projected bid opening date is June 3, 2024.
