Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and other resources to complete the construction of Eagle Butte Substation, Stage 03 in South Dakota. The principal components of the work involve miscellaneous sitework, foundation and structural steel demolition, building demolition, earthwork, chain link fence, gravel surfacing, riprap, and seeding; providing concrete foundations; installing Government-Furnished equipment including power circuit breakers, disconnecting switches, transformers, vertical switchboard sections, communication tower, station battery system, and station battery chargers; providing, grounding, conduit, cable trench, distribution boards, miscellaneous electrical, and communication facilities; and constructing a site-built control building complete with electrical and mechanical systems. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. All work is to be completed within 365 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about February 7, 2024 and the projected bid opening date is March 11, 2024.
