No other changes to the solicitation. Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) is designing a new switching station between existing Structures 37/3 and 37/4 of the Fort Thompson 230-kV double-circuit transmission line in Hand County that involves constructing switching station structures and two new double-circuit 230-kV steel monopole structures that will require geologic information. The new switching station and the transmission line are shown on Drawings RSH T001, RSH T8000, and FT-HU D T1006. The switching station structures will be steel poles and frames on reinforced-concrete foundations. See Statement of Work The task includes the following: a. Geologic mapping. b. Subsurface investigation. c. Laboratory testing. d. Report. e. Earth resistivity testing.
