Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and other resources to complete the construction of Rose Hill Switching Station, Stage 01 in South Dakota. The principal components of the work involve miscellaneous sitework, demolition, earthwork, chain link fence, gravel surfacing, riprap, and seeding; providing concrete foundations; providing steel structures; installing Government-Furnished equipment including power circuit breakers, disconnecting switches, coupling capacitor voltage transformers, surge arrester, voltage transformers, and control cable,; providing station battery systems, switchboard sections, high voltage bus, grounding, conduit, cable trench, distribution panels, miscellaneous electrical, communication facilities, fiber optic cables and equipment, and constructing a site-built control building complete with electrical and mechanical systems. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. All work is to be completed within 425 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency.
