Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials other than Government-furnished materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of Bismarck – Jamestown No. 2 230-kV Transmission Line – Stink Lake Reroute, North Dakota. The principal components of the work involve demolition of approximately 1.32 miles of 230-kV transmission line, rebuilding 1.55 miles of new 230-kV transmission line with Government-furnished steel poles, Government-furnished 954 kcmil, ASCR, 45/7, “Rail” conductor and Government-furnished 1/2-inch overhead ground wire. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. There is an interim completion date to complete the reroute by June 15, 2023 with the remainder of the demolition work to be completed within 365 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about January 27, 2023, and the projected bid opening date is February 28, 2023.
