Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and other resources to complete the construction of Verona – Great Falls 161-kV Transmission Line Rebuild, Phase 1 in Montana.The principal components of the work involve demolition of approximately 22 miles of 161-kV transmission line, rebuilding 22 miles of new 230-kV transmission line with 954 kcmil conductor, 3/8-inch overhead ground wire, and 0.465-inch, 24 fiber optical ground wire.The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. All work is to be completed within 210 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 237130 with a Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about July 8, 2022, and the projected bid opening date is August 11, 2022.
