Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of Watertown Operations Office Building, Station Service Upgrade in South Dakota. The principal components of the work involve miscellaneous sitework; providing new concrete foundations; replacement of switchgear, transformers, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with batteries, power distribution system, AC distribution panels, and conductor; providing associated electrical equipment and material, removal and disposal of existing electrical equipment including switchgear, transformers, and UPS system; and providing new switchgear building. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All work is to be completed within 365 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 237130 with a Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about July 29, 2021 and the projected bid opening date is August 31, 2021.
