Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and other resources to complete the construction of Flandreau Substation, Stage 09 in South Dakota. The principal components of the work involve miscellaneous sitework; demolition; miscellaneous sitework, providing concrete foundations; installing Government-Furnished steel structures; installing Government-Furnished equipment including a power circuit breaker, a reactor, switches, current transformers, a coupling capacitor voltage transformer; and providing high voltage bus, grounding, conduit, and control cable. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. All work is to be completed within 150 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237130 with a Small Business size standard of $39.5 Million. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about April 12, 2021 and the projected bid opening date is May 12, 2021.
