Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) has a Brand Name or Equal requirement: LEMCO Model XLT 170 Knuckle Boom Loader – 1 EA Products quoted must meet or exceed the LEMCO Model XLT 170 knuckle boom loader with installation onto WAPA 6x4 Kenworth truck-tractor and must have the following salient characteristics (1) Back of cab, rear mount (2) capacities – 18,700 pounds at 10’, 12,400 pounds at 15’, 9,200 pounds at 20’ and 6,030 pounds at 25’ (3) Maximum lift height at 30’ at 7’ radius (4) log grab heavy duty gripping area (5) stabilizers automatically tilt able to 45 degrees (6) full continuous swing. WAPA will deliver truck tractor to the vendor location for install. WAPA truck tractor is currently on order with an expected delivery date of August 3, 2020. Delivery location not to exceed 500 miles from Pierre SD. Only new items are acceptable; no refurbished/like new items will be considered. The solicitation closes 10 March 2020 at 1600 CST. The Government will award to the vendor who offers meets or exceeds the specifications and is the lowest overall price. Contracting Officer will evaluate product on the basis of information furnished by the quote and cut sheet or identified in the quote and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the quote. See attached specification.
