Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of Watertown Substation, Stage 22, Station Service Replacement Project in South Dakota. The principal components of the work involve miscellaneous sitework including gravel surfacing; demolition of bus, bus cable, conductors, outdoor electrical panels, a lighting unit, bus support and fuse structures, and concrete foundations; providing concrete foundations; providing steel structures; installing Government-Furnished equipment including switches and fuse disconnects; providing high current limiters, disconnect switches, service transformers, voltage transformers, a resistor, copper cable, safety switches, AC distribution panels, grounding, conduit, bus, and associated electrical equipment. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All work is to be completed within 90 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237130 with a Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about July 21, 2020 and the projected bid opening date is August 21, 2020.
