Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of Devils Lake Substation, Stage 06 in North Dakota. The principal components of the work involve miscellaneous sitework; demolition; earthwork, providing chain-link fence, gravel surfacing, riprap, and seeding; surveying; oil containment; providing concrete foundations; providing and modifying steel structures; installing Government-Furnished equipment including a power transformer, power circuit breakers, a reactor, shunt capacitor banks, voltage transformers, current transformers, coupling capacitor voltage transformers, switches, station and communication battery systems and switchboard sections; providing high voltage bus, grounding, conduit, cable trench, surge arrester, switches,and control cable; distribution panels; miscellaneous electrical; communication facilites; and constructing a site-built service building complete with electrical and mechanical systems. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All work is to be completed within 390 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
