Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of Miles City Substation No. 2, Stage 03 in Montana. The principal components of the work involve miscellaneous; demolition; providing concrete foundations; providing steel structures; installing Government-Furnished equipment including power circuit breakers, coupling capacitor voltage transformer, switches, shunt capacitor bank, and switchboard sections; providing high voltage bus, grounding, conduit, control cable, fiber optic conduit system, and fiber optic cable; and miscellaneous electrical. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All work is to be completed within 180 days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about January 30, 2020 and the projected bid opening date is March 3, 2020.
