Pre-Solicitation Notice Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) Office has a requirement for a Cottonwood Section G, Control Building. The description of work includes the design, manufacture, transport, install, test and complete the Cottonwood Section G, Control Building in accordance with; the International Building Code (IBC), (USA), associated metal building codes and requirements; and these Project Specifications and Drawings. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract. Terms include FOB Destination to Cottonwood Substation. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued as a competitive, small business set aside. The NAICS code is 332311; the applicable size standard is 750 employees. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued electronically on or about August 2, 2024. Any further updates will be provided by this notice. No phone calls will be accepted. Prospective Offerors must have an active registration in SAM.gov at the time of submission of quote to be considered for award.
