THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S SOLE SOURCE AWARD TO IRONTREE CONSTRUCTION, INC FOR AN URGENT AND COMPELLING REQUIREMENT PER FAR FAR 6.302-2. This requirement is for The Department of Energy (DOE), Western Area Power Administration's (WAPA) Desert Southwest Region (DSW) Parker Substation Control Building Tunnel Cleaning and Sump Pump Installation - Urgent and Compelling Requirement to address urgent safety concerns. The reason justifying this sole source procurement is that WAPA DSW believes only one responsible source can provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency's requirement timely to mitigate urgent safety concerns with a period of performance 03/11/2024 to 03/25/2024. This is not a request for quotes and any interested party may notify the contracting office via email to dweiss@wapa.gov to express their ability to provide these services for future needs.
