Pre-Solicitation Notice Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) Office has a requirement for a Pre-Fabricated Control Building to be delivered at Beale AFB Substation. The description of work includes the design, manufacture, transport, install, test and complete the EMP Hardened, in accordance with the resulting contract; the IBC, associated metal building codes and requirements; and the Project Specifications and Drawings. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract. Terms include FOB Destination to Beale AFB Substation. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will be issued as a competitive, small business set aside. The NAICS code is 332311; the applicable size standard is 750 employees. The solicitation (Request for Quotes) will now be issued electronically on or about March 22, 2023. Any further updates will be provided by this notice. The forthcoming solicitation contains Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Therefore, the solicitation attachments are not publicly releasable on SAM.gov. Prospective Offerors must follow the CUI procedures and request the documentation via email to Jolene Daoud, Contract Specialist at Daoud@wapa.gov after release of the solicitation.
